Rooftop Restaurant Penthouse808 @ Ravel Hotel

I went to the Penthouse lounge for a birthday party this past Saturday. The bouncer and door man were extremely friendly and polite. Although it had been raining the NYC view was amazing and relaxing. I tried some amazing drinks, quite pricy but still good. The crowd was very classy, mature, and mixed. The music was GREAT!!! The DJ played such a variety of genres starting from house, reggae, r&b, hip hop, latin, spanish rock, and even rock & roll!!! Never before had I heard a DJ play Bob Marley at a lounge. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to go to a nice relaxing lounge. No kids what so ever, the drinks are on point, the view is on point, the music is on point!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! The food is to dye for. I highly recommend this place to anyone that has a date. The views of the city is breathtaking. The music was good. The staff was extremely nice. There was a large party and the kitchen was backed up. We waited a long time to get our food but once it came it was well worth the wait. The manager came over and personally apologized for the wait and brought our table a bottle of wine (most places do not give away free alcohol). I definitely will be back soon.

I LOVE this place, and it's not just because I'm obsessed with rooftops. What I love about it is that because it's in Queens, it grants such an amazing view of the city and the Queensborough Bridge without having to actually cross it. The view is the perfect backdrop. It is beautiful for brunch, great to watch the sunset and chic at night. I've enjoyed their Crispy Vietnamese Springs Rolls, particularly the Mango Chilli sauce. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Pesto, Tomato and Mozzarella Omelet. This is a great spot for brunch, happy hour or nightlife.

Seeing all those lights shining from the city makes me fee so small. Its amazing how many things there actually are in a city. Feels different to party outside, vs the original inside club.

The view is stunning. If you want a little escape from the city, but be able to enjoy it at the same time this is the place. The drinks are a little pricey but they have specials and it is a perfect secret summertime spot. Also great for weddings & birthdays
